About my work:

Astrology can offer an archetypal perspective to our often messy lives.  It brings insights in all areas - relationships, vocation, communication, money, emotions, self care, personal growth  and spiritual alignment and more.  At its best, it bears witness to the truth of our deepest selves. 

Life continually invites us towards ever fuller creative participation.  The more we come to know ourselves, our patterns, our gifts, our hang ups, and our dreams and longings, the more powerful our engagement with life can be. 

I use astrology as a tool for self awareness and soul enrichment.  It can help us strengthen the foundations of self and soul for positive alignment with our lives.

I approach the art of natal chart interpretation as a co-creative process.  together we explore the living landscape of your chart -an ecosystem where each symbol is a deep well of  replenishing meaning.  I see my role as a translator, finding words, images, metaphors and stories to bring your charts symbolism to life. 

Your own awareness of how these symbols manifest in your life deepens the work.  As we journey in the chart I make space for you to share what insights and reflections are arising for you.  Together we weave them back to the reflection the chart is offering.

Hello, I’m Sarah.

I am a four year student at Astrology University’s professional training program, where I am currently working on my culminating project. I have studied with well known teachers and practitioners in the field such as Demetria George, Mark Jones, Safron Rossi, Jason Holley and Tony Howard among others.  Currently I am also working towards a Life Coach certification through Psychosynthesis Northeast.

I grew up in the hills of nowhere Vermont in a large family who initiated me in taking walks under the stars.  After working and adventuring for many years in the mountains and remote places, I found myself in the Hudson Valley where I've made a home with my husband for over 15 years. Amidst astrology I practice poetry writing, woods wandering, full moon walks, and am continually called to my own best effort and personal growth on the journey of mothering my three growing children.

Sessions are offered online or at my Hudson Valley location.

Traveling Solo:

Natal Chart Reading;  $80-120 sliding scale, 1.5 hour

We will enter the terrain of your birth chart - a symbolic map and energetic imprint of the moment you arrived on earth.  Together we will explore how you experience the energies suggested by the chart and how you manifest the imprint of the archetypal realm in your life. We will cover both gifts and challenges and be guided by your most potent interest and inquiry.  

The natal chart is very rich and multilayered and merits revisiting throughout your life.  I can also work through the natal lens of the Asteroid Goddesses and Lunar Phase by request.  

Timing Reading;  $80-120 sliding scale, 1.5 hour

This reading is designed to help you harness the current energies to support your emerging selfhood and becoming.  We use various astrological timing techniques to help us understand the developmental stimulus you are experiencing at this moment and stage of your growth and how to best align yourself with it.  This reading can also be used to reflect on significant past events and developments in your life.  I do not do predictive work.

Bundles for Ongoing Work: 

All sessions are 1.5 hours and do not expire.  

3 Session Bundle:  $210- $250 sliding scale

4 Session Bundle: $260- $300 sliding scale

5 Session Bundle: $300- $340 sliding scale

We commit to your astrological soul work by entering an astrological coaching relationship where we engage the archetypes of the birth chart in relation to current life issues and challenges as a way to harness the wisdom of astrology to effect positive change and better alignment in your life.  This is an especially powerful way to work for those that are in transition or who want to develop a more intimate relationship with their birth chart.

In the Company of Two:

Synastry Reading.  $160- $240 sliding scale, 1.5 hour

We look at the energetic exchange between the charts of 2 individuals to understand how each person affects the other.  We explore what in the relationship supports and challenges each individual.  And what the relationship draws forth from each individual.  This reading can be a valuable tool in many different relationships including friendships, partnerships and family relationships.  I will need accurate birth information and permission from both parties.   

Composite Reading. $160- $240 sliding scale, 1.5 hour 

This reading is offered to couples or pairs who have done a Synastry reading and want to go deeper.  We look at the alchemy available when both parties turn towards the relationship by exploring the composite chart, a chart symbolic of the relationship itself.  This reading is appropriate from any relationship where there is a commitment and could include friendships, partnerships and family relationships. 

Groups & Events:

Mini Readings for Gatherings.  Rates vary

I offer astrology readings at events and gatherings - retreats, parties, women’s circles and celebrations of all kinds.  Guests receive short insightful,  mini-readings.  Please contact me about your vision- I'd love to co-create something meaningful.
